Chester Hill High School
Chester Hill High School is situated in south western Sydney in the School Education Area of Fairfield. The school was established in 1962 and an Intensive English Centre was established in 1978. We are committed to living our school motto 'Strength in Unity, Excellence in Education.' The majority of our students are from language backgrounds other then English. One of the highlights of our school year is our International Flag Day which is a powerful symbol of our values and attitudes. The school receives Resource Allocation model monies (RAM) for its low socio-economic and largely Non-English speaking background community. This money provides additional funding and staff to improve learning outcomes for all students by developing positive strategies in home, school and community partnerships, school organisation and quality teaching and learning. At our school students consistently achieve above average results for our area and our region in public examinations and assessments. Our HSC results in courses are frequently above state average. Our school values are safety, respect, learning and belonging. Our positive behaviour for learning motto is 'I am a safe, respectful learner who belongs at Cheso'.
