Bonnyrigg High School

Bonnyrigg High School is centred in the suburb of Bonnyrigg and draws students from the areas of Bonnyrigg, Mount Pritchard, Cabramatta West, Edensor Park, St Johns Park and surrounding areas. The school features a very broad curriculum and concentrates on the development of students to reach their maximum potential. This is achieved by providing an excellent moderning ICT learning environment,  a caring school community and a wide range of facilities for students' use. The school has undergone refurbishment and has the most modern of facilities. Academically Bonnyrigg is a Partially Selective Academic High School with outstanding programs, both academic and welfare, which have resulted in many Bonnyrigg High School students achieving individual success. The school has a Trade Training Centre for Hospitality, modern Industrial Arts block, refurbished visual Arts facilities and is building a new high spec Dance/drama building. The senior curriculum allows student at TAFE, School VET courses and the high levels in Mathematics and English to extension 2. The school mission is to create a positive and supportive learning environment which realises the individual and self worth of all. To achieve this, Bonnyrigg High School is working towards being a learning community to which students want to belong, to which parents want to send their children and in which staff enjoy working. Bonnyrigg High School has a Confucius classroom sponsored by the Depart of Education and Hanban Institute, China. Bonnyrigg High School is one of only 13 schools in NSW to have such a facility. Our sister school in China is; Wenchang Campus, China University of Mining and Technology,  Quanshan District, Xuzhou, Jiangsu and strong links are being established. The school strives to promote excellence in achievement amongst our students providing high levels of educational outcomes and opportunities for all students and prepares students for their future.
