Seven Hills High School

Seven Hills High School is a well-resourced, co-educational high school providing quality education for students in Years 7 to 12 which forms part of the Nirimba Collegiate of schools, located in the north-west of Sydney. In Years 7 and 8, the school offers a "Self Select Class" for highly focused and dedicated learners. Year 9 and 10 elective courses cater for a range of academic and vocational interests. Year 11 and 12 students have the opportunity to remain at Seven Hills High School for their HSC studies which incorporates a wide selection of subjects including Vocational Education pathways. They may also access courses at different collegiate schools to expand their curriculum choice. Seven Hills High School is a pilot school for the Vocational High Schools Program. Its specialist VET Facility, The Vocational Innovation Centre was opened in 2023 and currently offers both TAFE delivered and school based VET courses open to all senior students across Western Sydney. The School is built on the lands of the Darug people. In 2024, there are 42 students enrolled who are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. The school is immensely proud of its connection to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. The school also has an Inclusive Education Unit of 3 classes for students with mild intellectual and autism spectrum disorder disabilities. Seven Hills High School maintains high expectations of its students in all areas of school life. Student endeavour, social responsibility and mutual respect are actively encouraged through our merit scheme and events such as Multicultural Days, NAIDOC celebrations and Reward Excursions as well as participation in community initiatives and the partnering of award winning educational programs with local primary schools. Students are able to enhance their leadership skills through participation in the Peer Support Program, the Student Representative Council and Sports Council. Students are provided with extensive opportunities to display their talents through their involvement in extra-curricular activities such as Streamwatch, Theatre Sports, Combined High Schools, regional and zone sporting competitions, debating and Creative and Performing Arts performances, displays and competitions.
