Punchbowl Boys' High School is a growing comprehensive boys high school catering to the educational and social aspirations of a vibrant and culturally diverse student population. With the School Vision to "Dream more, Learn more, Do more and Be more" the school provides opportunities that spark curiosity, promote critical thinking and support the achievement of academic, personal, creative and sporting excellence. As a leader in boys education best practice, intensive literacy and numeracy programs have been highly successful in improving student learning outcomes. With a systematic and strategic approach to teacher professional learning, the school maintains a highly engaging and creative learning environment and actively sustains a high level of community confidence and involvement. This highly successful strategic direction has resulted in the achievement of a National Literacy and Numeracy Award, a Director-General's Award and a number of community and parenting awards. The staff are highly dedicated and offer numerous extra-curricular opportunities such as outdoor education, drama, music, film, student leadership programs, debating, computing and coding clubs, health and fitness classes as well as a staffed tuition centre. The school offers a wide and engaging curriculum leading to a high percentage of graduating students undertaking a university degree or equivalent.
