Quirindi High School
Quirindi High School is a rural school and is proud to develop programs which meet the diverse needs of the student community. The school aims to provide individual educational excellence in a country atmosphere. The school is well-resourced, air-cooled and has outstanding agricultural, technology and creative arts facilities. Quirindi High School provides a broad range of academic and vocational options for students in Stages 5 and 6. The smaller size of the school allows students to have individual attention, however there is a wide range of subject choices. Students have achieved in many areas: Personal Development/Health/Physical Education, drama and public speaking, art, sport, academia and agriculture. Quirindi High School enjoys very strong support from local community groups, businesses and organisations and is currently establishing a Trade Training Centre in Metal and Engineering and Commercial Cookery.
We recognise the Ongoing Custodians of the lands and waterways where we work and live. We pay respect to Elders past and present as ongoing teachers of knowledge, songlines and stories. We strive to ensure every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learner in NSW achieves their potential through education.
