Wyong High School
Wyong High School is a comprehensive, co-educational and inclusive school which provides outstanding opportunities for all students to fully participate in the learning experience. Our aim is to prepare each student for lifelong learning. Our school offers selective classes into Year 7 and 8 consisting of Information Technology and AVID classes. The alternative curriculum structures of these streams allows for specific engagement for our gifted and talented students. We also offer a comprehensive range of VET courses and have developed strong relationships with TAFE and other agencies in providing productive pathways for our senior students. We are a P-TECH school and have STEM pathways with local industry links. A unique initiative run by our school is the Trade School where students complete their senior studies with a HSC credential, completion of their first year of an apprenticeship and paid work in their chosen field. We boast state of the art facilities including a Trade Training Centre Primary Industries facility and a commercial grade kitchen to allow students at Wyong High School diverse employment options.
We recognise the Ongoing Custodians of the lands and waterways where we work and live. We pay respect to Elders past and present as ongoing teachers of knowledge, songlines and stories. We strive to ensure every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learner in NSW achieves their potential through education.
