Macksville High School
Macksville High School is a co-educational comprehensive school which has a fine tradition for high academic, sporting, cultural and civic achievements. It enjoys very strong support from the community, parents and carers. The school is situated on the Nambucca River in the picturesque Nambucca Valley in the township of Macksville. Student enrolment averages approximately 500 students Years 7 to 12. The school has excellent modern facilities in Technology and Applied Studies, Creative and Performing Arts and Agriculture, a Trade Training Centre, a Language Centre, community stadium and technology resources that include computer rooms, video conferencing facilities, interactive white boards and 1:1 computing devices that offer students opportunities to excel in their areas of endeavour. The academic and wellbeing needs of students are supported through a well equipped Learning Centre and active Learning Support and Wellbeing Teams. The teaching staff are experienced and dedicated to offering students every opportunity of reaching their potential. In support of curriculum offerings, a full range of extra-curricular activities is available.
