Parramatta High School
Established in 1913, Parramatta High School has maintained its reputation for outstanding academic results with high expectations for student achievement. Our students are inspired to explore their individual interest in a varied curriculum. Student growth in academic performance is consistently above state average across the curriculum. Our quality teaching and learning programs have been recognised with the introduction of selective classes in 2010. We celebrate the achievement and personal success of our students at assemblies and awards nights throughout the year. We offer excellent support programs for students with special needs. Our innovative student wellbeing programs promote a healthy lifestyle, resilience, self-confidence, personal development and social skills. Students are encouraged to be socially responsible citizens by being involved in their community, raising funds for charity and participating in equity forums to present the student view on social justice. We are a national leader in the Positive Behaviour for Learning approach to student welfare and discipline. Our school operates on the core values of Respect, Responsibility and Honesty.
