Hurlstone Agricultural High School

Hurlstone Agricultural High School is unique as the only selective co-educational boarding high school in NSW. We are committed to high academic achievement and wholesome family values fostering the development of individual responsibility, autonomy, pride in self and school. It is the state's oldest agricultural high school and an integral part of the green 'buffer' between Liverpool and Campbelltown. Hurlstone combines traditional academic studies with the opportunity for students to relate their work to the key primary sector of agriculture. This integrated curriculum model provides high-achieving students unique opportunities for life. The overwhelming majority of our students undertake university studies. The school attracts students from all over NSW as its fine reputation creates strong competition for places. At Hurlstone students value their place, take pride in the school's heritage of achievement and help maintain a climate in which every individual can strive for excellence in any field. The school community nurtures a caring, supportive environment in which each student is encouraged to seek personal excellence through a broad curriculum with an emphasis on agriculture
