Scone Public School
Scone Public School is situated in the Upper Hunter Region of New South Wales. It has a strong standing within the community and an excellent reputation as a school that enriches students' lives. The current enrolment is 470 students of diverse backgrounds drawn from a wide area of the Upper Hunter Shire. Teaching and support staff bring a variety of experiences to the school which creates a vibrancy in the learning community. The staff provide quality teaching and learning experiences and are committed to the pursuit of excellence. Two enrichment classes provide a stimulating and challenging environment for our gifted and talented students. Students enjoy success in all areas of the performing arts and the school has developed a fine reputation in this area. The school has a long and proud tradition of sporting success and students excel in a wide variety of sports. Students at Scone Public School enjoy a caring, supportive environment and the school's welfare program is widely recognised for its inclusivity.
