Plumpton House School
Plumpton House School was established as one of the government's initiatives to address violence in schools. The school's first intake of students was in Term two, 1998. Plumpton House School provides an alternative educational environment which caters for the academic, social and behavioural needs of students in Years five to ten with severe behaviour problems. The school has a maximum capacity of 42 students. The emphasis is on transition into the next environment (e.g. mainstream school, TAFE, employment). Plumpton House School is a cross-district resource and currently caters for students from Blacktown, Fairfield, Granville, Mount Druitt, Parramatta and Penrith.
