The Childrens Hospital School
The Children's Hospital School supports all students in their efforts to achieve excellence through the whole range of endeavour. We provide a secure and caring environment where the welfare of each student is paramount. The Children's Hospital School, Westmead, the largest hospital school in NSW, provides a safe, supportive learning environment for school aged patients. This unique school accommodates patients throughout NSW, other states and overseas. Students from both government and non-government schools are eligible to attend. The school boasts the successful delivery of services to students with a vast variety of needs. It provides continuity of educational services to K-12 students who are hospitalised for an anticipated stay of five or more days or are recurrent admissions for an extensive range of medical interventions relating to severe or chronic illness, disease, accident, trauma or psychological health.
