Holman Place School

Holman Place School is a Specific Purposes school catering for the needs of students with a range of disabilities and disorders. The school is situated in Cowra, Central Western NSW. The school works with families to provide educational programs designed to address individual needs within educational, communication, mobility, independent living, vocational, recreation and leisure domains. Holman Place School provides a safe, caring and supportive environment for students from Kindergarten to Year 12. The school currently has a non-teaching Principal and four classes. Holman Place is an integral part of the community and has strong community support. Students access a wide range of resources and activities including Interactive Whiteboards, PSP, hydrotherapy, RDA, Sailability, Eisteddfods, Cowra Show, work experience, major excursions, TAFE, sporting carnivals, and ten pin bowling. The school is implementing the Positive Behaviour for Learning initiative. The school takes pride in preparing students to reach their potential in leading active, meaningful and independent lives within their communities.
