Brewongle Environmental Education Centre
Brewongle Environmental Education Centre designs and delivers highly effective education for sustainability programs for students, teachers and communities. Our educational setting is the former Sackville North Public School featuring an 1878 sandstone classroom and residence. The centre is located on a south-facing ridge 70 metres above the Hawkesbury River at Sackville North and offers day or residential and school based programs with the motto 'explore, experience and discover. Our specialist teaching and learning programs for K to 12 support NSW Syllabuses. Schools and their communities are able to experience a unique blend of environmental, historical and cultural activities which utilise the diverse attractions, quality facilities and natural habitats of the surrounding Hawkesbury region.
