Snowy Valleys School
Gadara School for Specific Purposes has an enrolment of students K-12 who have an identified intellectual or physical disability in the moderate to severe range or a diagnosis of autism. All students have a personalised learning plan which targets identified priority goals. Each plan is developed in collaboration with parents and carers. All school programs are based on Department of Education syllabi and reflect quality teaching and learning activities and outcomes. For all Gadara School students the focuses for learning are communication, literacy, numeracy, technology and work skills. These skills will ensure that all students leaving Gadara School are ready for work, are ready to lead an independent life and take their place in their local community.
