Arranounbai School
Arranounbai School is situated in Aquatic Drive, Frenchs Forest, NSW and caters for students with physical disabilities and medical conditions providing a caring and safe environment for all students and staff. The school also has an Autism Intervention class K to 2.There are 28 students enrolled at present from K to 12. Arranounbai aims to improve student learning in all areas: academic, physical and social. This is achieved through personalised programs that are curriculum based and provide maximum opportunity for success. The school implements its mission statement by providing students with alternative methods of study such as Distance Education to achieve their School Certificate and Higher School Certificate as well as the Life Skills Curriculum. Arranounbai is part of the Forest Learning Community and as such is involved in many inclusive programs both primary and secondary. Arranounbai School also runs an inclusive Early Learning Program for children 3 to 4 years old, which caters for mainstream students and students with disabilities.
We recognise the Ongoing Custodians of the lands and waterways where we work and live. We pay respect to Elders past and present as ongoing teachers of knowledge, songlines and stories. We strive to ensure every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learner in NSW achieves their potential through education.
