The school is a unique learning community that is committed to providing a happy and caring place for students to learn whilst valuing the strong links we have developed over many years with our parents and the wider community. Communication between home and school is promoted and encouraged through daily correspondence and attendance at meetings where parents can advocate on behalf of their children. School curriculum combines the subject areas of mainstream curriculum with the individual priorities staff establish with parents and carers each year. The school has a focus for student learning in the areas of communication and social skills. Technology is used throughout the school including interactive whiteboards to extend student classroom programs, and has been highly successful.
