Bullimbal School
At Bullimbal SSP the staff believe that we are here to make a difference for our students by maximising their learning potential in an enriched learning environment. Our supportive learning team will enhance the quality of our students' lives through encouraging independence, achievement and acceptance as they become valued members of our society. The families and carers or our students will be supported and encouraged to actively contribute to their child's education and commitment to lifelong learning. Our purpose is achieved through our highly-qualified, caring and experienced staff who work closely with parents and other professionals to provide quality programs. Our school is supported by Priority School Funding which provides staff and students with additional support in literacy and numeracy. We receive many visitors from other schools who learn about our many programs including the Picture Exchange Communication Program which has assisted so many of our students to communicate effectively. In 2010 our school will move into a new purpose-built $8.4m school which is a direct result of a partnership between our School Council and the Department of Education and Training.
We recognise the Ongoing Custodians of the lands and waterways where we work and live. We pay respect to Elders past and present as ongoing teachers of knowledge, songlines and stories. We strive to ensure every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learner in NSW achieves their potential through education.
