Sutherland Hospital School

The Sutherland Hospital School is a K to12 facility providing educational services within the Children's Ward of Sutherland Hospital for children from 3 to18 years. The students are predominantly from southern Sydney and are hospitalised through illness, accident, disease, trauma, for medical procedures and for psychological or social reasons. Children either attend the Hospital schoolroom or have an educational service delivered to their bedside on a daily basis for periods ranging from several days to several months. The school aims to provide continuity and quality education to school students who are hospitalised whilst offering support to students and families to ensure a smooth transition to regular schools.
