Rowland Hassall School

Rowland Hassall School caters for students with an intellectual disability and other secondary disabilities by providing quality education for all students enabling them to become independent and responsible citizens. The school encourages and promotes all parents and carers to participate in the school's activities, achieving a co-operative partnership in learning and a caring and supportive school environment. This is a constant challenge as the school's community is diverse culturally and geographically. Rowland Hassall School is located within walking distance of the Parramatta CBD, and serviced by train and bus transport. Being a state facility, students not only draw from Parramatta, Fairfield and Granville districts but also include south western Sydney and west to the Blue Mountains. The full school team work together to provide a cohesive and co-ordinated approach to teaching and learning through consultation and collaboration at all levels.
