Cardiff North Public School
Cardiff North Public School is located in the Newcastle suburb of Cardiff and boasts extensive, leafy playgrounds with many shaded areas. We offer all children a safe and caring school environment where they may develop intellectually, socially, physically, emotionally and spiritually in preparation for a changing society. While literacy and numeracy remain our main focus, we also maintain strong programs in technology and environmental education, as well as physical education, the arts, science and technology and the social sciences. Classrooms are equipped with the latest in technology and are air conditioned for student comfort. Our staff maintain their knowledge and skills in modern teaching methods and our parent body is very active in supporting programs and activities that benefit the students. We follow a rigorous assessment schedule and regularly offer a comprehensive analysis of your child's progress. Our staff constantly individualises children's programs to suit their assessed needs. Staff at the school work closely with our Parents and Citizens Association, who work tirelessly for the benefit of all our children. We are very much 'a family school committed to quality education'.
