Kyeemagh Public School

Kyeemagh Infants School is a small K to 2 school, close to Sydney Airport, with a strong family focus. The school community fosters the belief that students learn best when they are recognised and valued as individuals who can succeed. The school has expansive grounds that include gardens with various themes, ample fixed equipment for sport and fitness with many outdoor areas designed to develop literacy and numeracy skills across the key learning areas. Parents, students and teachers have worked together to plan and make our playground an exciting place to learn. The fully airconditioned and soundproofed classrooms are fitted with modern technology such as interactive whiteboards, projectors and computers with peripherals for photography and podcasting. Videoconferencing facilities based in the school library are used to enhance learning opportunities. The teaching and learning programs in the school are planned and implemented to meet the academic, social and emotional needs of every child. The school has strong links with the local community, nearby schools and Rockdale Council. The school also is very proud of its visual arts program and leadership in environmental education.
