Glen Innes West Infants School is a K to 2 public school with a focus on excellent education in a caring, supportive environment especially designed to meet the needs of K-2 students exemplifying our motto, Beginning the Journey. Students, teachers and parents work together to enhance teaching and learning opportunities. Glen Innes West Infants School provides quality teaching and learning in a safe, happy environment where students are always the focus. The school provides a balanced curriculum with many opportunities and experiences designed to develop and support students to maximise learning outcomes. Success in academic, social and cultural areas is a focus as students learn to communicate effectively in many ways and in many situations while developing their physical fitness and understanding of a healthy lifestyle. Students develop positive attitudes towards education and learning and also towards themselves and others. Students take an active role performing at community events thus engaging the wider community with our school.
