North Nowra Public School
North Nowra Public School is nestled in a bushland setting. The school provides students with a positive, safe and supportive learning environment where pastoral care is a focus.The school and its community value learning and emphasise students acquiring basic skills of literacy and numeracy. Students achieving their potential is a major goal of the school. A keen and motivated staff design and develop programs that cater for the specific needs of students. Access to technology as a teaching and learning tool for staff and students is a priority. Students acquire skills in music through the school music, band and the school choir programs. The Southern Stars Spectacular and Shoalhaven music festival as well as productions at school promote excellence through public performance. Students' physical development is catered for through the school's Physical Education Program. Sport provides the students with the opportunity to learn to play in a team and to display high levels of skill development. The school has a proud record in the sporting arena.
