Mount Terry Public School
The motto of Mount Terry Public School, 'Growing Strong, Reaching Far', reflects the ethos of the school which is based around preparing students for a bright future. Mount Terry P.S. has been providing a service to its growing community since 1995. The school is situated in a growing residential area at the southern end of the suburb of Albion Park, on the road to the township of Jamberoo. The children are happy and settled in highly productive and engaging classrooms and the playground is a harmonious environment for all. The staff offer a caring and dedicated approach to teaching and provide the students with a huge range of extra-curricular opportunities so every student has the opportunity to shine. Environmental education, public speaking and debating, art, dance, music and sport are just some of the additional opportunities offered to the students. The school has a strong emphasis on the positive welfare of students, which is underlined by the school's values of respect, integrity, responsibility, co-operation, participation, care, fairness and democracy. Mount Terry P.S. boasts a fabulous sense of community that is evident to all those who visit our fabulous public school.
We recognise the Ongoing Custodians of the lands and waterways where we work and live. We pay respect to Elders past and present as ongoing teachers of knowledge, songlines and stories. We strive to ensure every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learner in NSW achieves their potential through education.
