St Helens Park Public School
St Helens Park Public School was opened in 1994 and has a current enrolment of 420. Our school challenges children to determine their own future. Staff work as collaborative teams focussing on catering to difference through explicit teaching, creative grouping and targeted support. Our school is committed to providing a supportive, well-managed learning environment where clear expectations of behaviours are articulated and where students are recognised and acknowledged as safe, respectful learners. St Helens Park Public School has a strong focus on improving students' outcomes in literacy and numeracy. Technology is an integral tool in the teaching and learning programs throughout the school. All teachers use computers, the internet and interactive whiteboards as tools to promote student learning and engagement in their classrooms. St Helens Park Public School is part of a community of schools and works closely with these schools to enhance the learning opportunities for all students. St Helens Park offers four Regional resources via three ED/BD Units and one Intensive Reading class.
