Sandy Beach School is a popular school located in a beautiful bushland setting on the traditional lands of the Gumbanggirr people. (School Vision) Bordering the Solitary Islands Marine Park, we are NSW's first MARINE primary school and we seek to ensure that our students have a deep knowledge of and respect for the marine environment. The school is delivering across all aspects of the School Excellence Framework with an emphasis on literacy, numeracy and fun. Our school has highly skilled, experienced and passionate teachers and has connected learning capacity in every classroom. The school maintains a range of positive relationships programs including anti-bullying, peer support and mentoring. We use the Kidsmatter framework to support student wellbeing. We are accredited Sunsafe, Asthma Friendly and Waterwise. The school is large enough to offer lots while being small enough to maintain a family atmosphere.
