Wytaliba Public School
Wytaliba Public School is able to provide a truly individual education to meet the needs of every child through our wonderful resources and small classes. We provide a computer for every student, a well-resourced library and many opportunities for students to enjoy excursions, sport clinics, technology and multimedia camps, creative arts and music camps, small school carnivals and inter-school activity days. Gifted and talented students are encouraged and supported to develop their interests. Students participate in leadership programs and join activities with children of similar ages from other schools in the area. We provide and promote professional development for teachers and staff and frequently include opportunities for parents to develop new skills. Our focus is on encouraging students to achieve their full potential and to achieve state level outcomes or above. Science and technology are emphasised and the students' own permaculture garden helps them learn about environmental sustainability and a healthy lifestyle. Students are encouraged to develop a love of learning, self confidence and strong personal values providing a foundation for happy and productive lives.
We recognise the Ongoing Custodians of the lands and waterways where we work and live. We pay respect to Elders past and present as ongoing teachers of knowledge, songlines and stories. We strive to ensure every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learner in NSW achieves their potential through education.
