Tyalla Public School
Tyalla Public School is a large primary school located within the city of Coffs Harbour on the mid north Coast. Students enjoy an attractive tree filled environment of native gardens and a full size recreational oval. The motto of Respect underpins the school culture and the overarching aim of ensuring our students are developing the skills to become Safe and Responsible learners. The school has a focus on the growth and development of our students as life-long learners. Quality teaching and learning experiences in the priority areas of literacy and numeracy support each students academic progress. Students have direct access to the latest technology including interactive whiteboards and computers as an active part of their daily learning routines. Students at Tyalla are provided with opportunities to participate in a range of extra-curricular activities and a full repertoire of sports and fitness activities. The school proudly acknowledges the cultural diversity within our community and celebrates the heritage of our Aboriginal identity.
