York Public School has a very positive reputation within the community that is based upon the hard work of a skilful and caring staff, clear expectations for student achievement and behaviour and a commitment to the implementation of initiatives that provide a quality education for every student. Our vision is that York Public School exists to enable all members of its community to achieve their potential. York Public School is situated in a leafy area of South Penrith with easy access to transport, a new shopping centre and services. Well-maintained buildings and facilities are enhanced by spacious and attractive gardens and grounds. Teaching at the school incorporates the use of a variety of tools in information and communication technology and the students benefit from strong programs in the creative and performing arts, sport and physical education.
