Willmot Public School
Willmot Public School, located in Mt Druitt western Sydney, was built in 1973 on the land of the Dharug people. The school works in partnership with parents, and in collaboration with local community groups. We have a small, yet active P&C association; are part of the Willmot Local Aboriginal Education Consultative Group (AECG); and a member of the Luxford Community of Schools. At Willmot Public School, we are committed to establishing strong learning foundations focused on literacy, numerary, science, and information and communication technology. Our school community values kindness, respect and care for each other, our school and our environment. Our main goal is to enable each child to achieve success; to be productive, creative, to work independently and contribute as part of a team. These values are reflected in our school-wide expectations for students as respectful, safe, learners. At Willmot Public School, we take a holistic approach to education. We believe in the importance of having high expectations and supporting all students to achieve their personal best.
