Hobartville Public School

Hobartville Public School is located in the Hawkesbury area, built on the historic Hobartville Estate granted in the 1800s. Our distinctive flying horse emblem unites the connection between the Hobartville Horse Stud and RAAF families who occupied the original estate. We strive for excellence within a caring environment and pro-actively encourage students to be safe, responsible, respectful learners. With sixteen classes plus a regional MC Support Unit for students with Autism and/or a moderate intellectual disability, we aim to meet the learning needs of every student whilst balancing the integration of every child at Hobartville within academic, social, creative, sporting, special event and excursion opportunities. We believe authentically integrating students with disabilities enhances the social and emotional understanding and development of every member of our school learning community. Contemporary technology practice incorporating Interactive Whiteboards and iPadsĀ are used as a powerful tool to enhance quality teaching, balancing challenge with support in all Key Learning Areas. Our staff work in partnership with parents, caregivers and our P&C committee to provide quality education, resources and experiences so every child is provided with relevant and innovative learning opportunities.
