Bradbury Public School has an enrolment of 615 students. There are approximately 23% of students with English as an Additional Language or Dialect and 7% of our students who identify as Aboriginal. Bradbury Public School maintains its reputation of academic excellence. We have 23 mainstream classes, a Year 5/6 Opportunity Class and an Autism unit of 3 classes, which caters to the needs of 21 students, operating within our school.Our dedicated staff, who are well supported by a proactive Learning and Support Team, work in collaborative teams, focussing on catering to difference through explicit teaching, creative grouping and targeted support. Our school is a PBL (Positive Behaviour for Learning) school and provides a supportive, well-managed learning environment where clear expectations of behaviour are articulated and where students are recognised and acknowledged as safe, respectful learners. We are committed to equipping our students with the skills to be successful 21st century learners and focus on achieving academic excellence for all students.Bradbury Public School builds strong relationships and strives to develop a true parent partnership. We have a proactive Parents and Citizens Association which supports our school through a range of initiatives. We provide a range of opportunities for genuine involvement with the school and value our parent's generous contributions.Bradbury Public School has an outstanding reputation in Creative and Practical Arts with experienced and talented staff leading a wide range of opportunities for students to develop their talents. We have a training band, concert band and rock band, choir and dance groups. We have a Multicultural Playgroup which operates fortnightly to support students' transition to school. We have strong student leadership team and an active Student Representative Council.
