St Ives Park Public School
St Ives Park Primary School provides a curriculum with an emphasis on literacy and numeracy, that encourages students to become purposeful, confident and responsible human beings within a safe, secure and disciplined environment. Our vision is to provide quality educational outcomes in a caring, supportive and encouraging environment. These ideals are exemplified in our mission statement. Educational programs aim to attain standards of excellence for all students, meet the needs and aspirations of our community, prepare students for their future in a divergent and changing society and promote the participation of parents and the wider school community. As a small school community, pastoral care is a feature of St Ives Park. The range of extra-curricular activities available ensures a balanced education. The school is located in a leafy, natural bushland setting and provides students with extensive playing fields, excellent sporting facilities and shaded play areas. Parent/community education and participation is fostered and welcomed at all levels within the school, while staff are valued for their positive contributions to the education of students.
We recognise the Ongoing Custodians of the lands and waterways where we work and live. We pay respect to Elders past and present as ongoing teachers of knowledge, songlines and stories. We strive to ensure every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learner in NSW achieves their potential through education.
