Chertsey Primary School
Chertsey Primary School is located on the Central Coast of NSW and caters for students in the Springfield area. The school is well-resourced and situated on a spacious site. It has an established reputation for close ties to its community. The school incorporates a state-wide Interagency Project Centre, catering for families with children 0 to 8 years. Chertsey Primary School has a proud history of strong ties with the Deaf Community and effectively caters for students with hearing impairments, autism and language disorders through the long established Support Unit. AUSLAN is taught as the 'Language Other than English' focus across the school. Chertsey Primary School is committed to providing a comprehensive, quality education program for each student in a caring, safe and secure environment with students, parents, staff and the community working together. Staff provide quality learning programs supported by outcome based assessment and reporting strategies. The Parents and Citizens have supported the Technology resources school-wide. Students are taught to think creatively and critically, to communicate effectively, to cooperate and to build positive interpersonal relationships.
