Calare Public School
Calare Public School is a large school that offers a range of opportunities for students. A focus of the school is to provide a happy and inclusive environment where each student is respected and nurtured. The Calare community highly values academic achievement and actively encourages students to strive for the highest personal achievement in all aspects of their school and personal life. Extension classes for academic achievement operate in Stages 2 and 3. The school provides specialist ICT lessons and classes are equipped with Smartboards. Calare is also committed to providing cultural, sporting and social development opportunities and excels in these areas. Students are encouraged to participate in choir, dance, band and public speaking. Calare enjoys a positive reputation for its achievements, for the behaviour and personal presentation of its students and for the many programs and facilities it offers. Students are taught to be honest and trustworthy, to be accountable for their actions and to show respect for themselves and others. It has positive and supportive staff who work to provide the best for all students. The school is committed to the principles of fairness and social justice.
