Floraville Public School
Floraville Public School is situated on Awabakal Country, on the eastern side of Lake Macquarie. The school provides a dynamic and nurturing learning environment in which students access quality educational programs. The whole school focus is to improve student achievement and growth in both reading and numeracy. We aim for progress through the implementation of high-quality assessment practices and the effective use of data to inform and guide teaching and learning programs. Emphasis on high-impact and explicit teaching practices drives continuous improvement, underpinned by research-based professional learning and evidence-based best practice. Embedded school values and expectations support students holistically. The school enjoys a strong and supportive P&C Association, with valuable partnerships existing between the school and community.
