Illaroo Road Public School
Illaroo Road Public School provides a sensitive learning environment which aims to encourage each child to achieve personal excellence now and in the future. We believe that learning is a life long process shared by children, parents and teachers. During this educational journey each child must learn to accept responsibility for his or her actions and learning. Fundamental to our school's mission is the acquisition of literacy and numeracy skills, upon which the pursuit of academic, cultural and sporting excellence is based and social responsibility is developed. The school's direction is determined by our School Council. Here, parents, school staff and community members work together to ensure the school maintains its excellent reputation.
We recognise the Ongoing Custodians of the lands and waterways where we work and live. We pay respect to Elders past and present as ongoing teachers of knowledge, songlines and stories. We strive to ensure every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learner in NSW achieves their potential through education.
