Nowra Hill Public School

Nowra Hill Public School is a small school located in a rural setting south of Nowra, adjacent to HMAS Albatross. The school serves families from the Nowra Hill village, small farms and Defence Force from HMAS Albatross and the Army Parachute Training School. It plays an important role in the community by providing a common focus for the diversified range of families it serves. The school is focused on achieving high academic standards and aims to provide a caring and safe learning environment where individual students 'Strive to Excel'. Our core values are Respect, Responsibility and Safety as the school is an active member of the Positive Behaviour for Learning program . Student leadership and involvement are highly valued and help create a safe, happy and friendly learning environment where students from K to 6 learn and play happily as friends. The school is an active member of a small schools network which provides the opportunity for shared teacher professional learning and a wide range of sporting and cultural activities for students.There is a strong academic focus in all key learning areas with an emphasis on literacy and numeracy.
