Richmond Public School

Richmond Public School is set in the Hawkesbury area and works towards providing an education for the whole child. It has fifteen mainstream classes, two opportunity (OC) classes and one autistic satellite classes. The student population for 2019 comprised of 319 mainstream students and 60 opportunity (OC) students. The school's core values are respect, learning, safety and the environment. The school has continued to improve the learning environment for the students through the provision of updated technology in all classrooms, links to on-line educational learning tools and beautiful large playgrounds for all students. Richmond Public School has a very professional staff who continually work at achieving the best results for each student. The school has specific policies and programs in relation to learning, which include a Gifted and Talented policy, a social/academic improvement program, band, debating and public speaking, District sport competitions, choir and dance. Richmond Public School prides itself on the strong partnership between the parents/carers, the school and the wider community. The school has a hard-working Parent and Citizen (P and C) committee which continually works to make available additional resources and experiences for the students of this lovely school.
