Villawood East Public School is situated in South Western Sydney with an enrolment of approximately 280 students and caters to the needs of a low SES and high NESB community. The school vision is that at Villawood East Public School, dedicated and resilient teachers, students and parents work together to create an inclusive and supportive learning community. Our school has high expectations and is motivated by research based practice to develop skills needed for lifelong learning and wellbeing. We value cooperative learning, active participation, collaboration and collegiality. The school has an onsite preschool and classes for students with special educational needs. Villawood East is a Positive Behaviour for Learning school and our values are Safe, Respectful, Learner. Villawood East Public School provides a variety of quality programs: Early Action for Success, Reading Recovery, Literacy Language Learners(L3) Taking off with Numeracy, Targeted Early Literacy, Arabic and Vietnamese community language programs. Villawood East Public School offers a broad range of learning activities with opportunities to participate in sport, public speaking, debating and dance.
