Finley Public School is caring, supportive and strives to achieve excellence in student outcomes. At the end of their primary education we want our students to be: literate; numerate; technologically aware; proud Australians. The school provides an enjoyable, stimulating and challenging learning environment for all of its students. Extra curricular activities in Literacy, Numeracy, sports, music, dance, visual Arts and Gifted and Talented strands are a feature of these programs. At Finley Public School we work with our wider school community to provide and to deliver Quality Teaching and Learning programs and a school environment conducive to each individual child reaching their full potential; academically, physically, socially and emotionally.
We recognise the Ongoing Custodians of the lands and waterways where we work and live. We pay respect to Elders past and present as ongoing teachers of knowledge, songlines and stories. We strive to ensure every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learner in NSW achieves their potential through education.
