Towradgi Public School
Towradgi Public School is located 5 kilometres north of Wollongong and is situated on a large level site with an expansive playground. Our school has a wonderful team of talented and dedicated teachers who support every student to achieve excellent results. Parents and carers are encouraged to play an active role in the education of their children. Many opportunities are available for families and community members to take part in the life of the school. Towradgi Public School works closely with the whole school community to provide a high quality education for all in a supportive and caring environment. Our outstanding achievements are attributed to the positive partnerships that exist between all members of our dedicated, supportive and hard-working school community. We value individual differences and support and cater for the needs of all students. Our school acknowledges a diverse range of cultural backgrounds and we aim to celebrate this diversity where possible. We are strong advocates of Aboriginal Education for all students and embed Indigenous perspectives across all areas of our curriculum. Our school values are expressed through the Dharawal language phrase: Gabu gna bul lali, gabu nga ngabin - We stand together, we stand strong. In addition to our mainstream classes, a unique feature of our school population is our 4 support classes, including an early intervention class. Our school is renowned for its inclusivity, acceptance of diversity and excellence in meeting individual learning needs. Through the provision of personalised learning across the whole school, every student is challenged to achieve to their full potential.
