Jannali Public School
Jannali Public School is a small community school established in 1944 and is situated in a beautiful bushland area in the southern suburbs of Sydney. The spacious, well-equipped classrooms and school grounds, together with a strong staff focus on student well-being promote a happy and safe learning environment for all children. Within the schoool grounds the school has a Before and After School Care facility which also offers Vacation Care. At Jannali Public School we believe that education is more than a direction or a destination: it is a process that recognises, enhances, and celebrates individual and group accomplishments. Students learn to work and live together constructively by respecting, honouring, and appreciating the uniqueness in themselves and others. The school focus is on the development of the whole child, including the fostering of self-worth, respect for others and an appreciation of the environment. Staff and parents have high but realistic expectations in regards to student outcomes. Students continue to achieve outstanding results, evidenced through their high academic, sporting and cultural achievements. Community involvement and inclusion are strong features of the school.
