Tarrawanna School provides Quality Education in a creative and caring environment. We believe our school makes a difference. Our school places strong emphasis on catering for the needs of all students K to 6. As part of the Early Action for Success Initiative, our school is committed to continuous school improvement through the development of reflective quality teachers, building strong beginnings and maximizing achievement for all students. We have a well resourced library,up-to-date technology, computer lab, air conditioned classrooms, spacious grounds,fixed play equipment, extensive shaded play areas. A family atmosphere is fostered within the school with emphasis on sharing, supporting, caring and positive interaction with each other. This creates great school spirit and a positive outlook and attitude. In our small school student well-being is a high priority and all teachers and staff know every student. Emphasis is placed on whole school leadership and achievement of personal best, development of close relationships and support among students. We recognise the Ongoing Custodians of the lands and waterways where we work and live. We pay respect to Elders past and present as ongoing teachers of knowledge, songlines and stories. We strive to ensure every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learner in NSW achieves their potential through education.
