Wyee Public School

Wyee Public School prides itself on being a friendly and welcoming school, working in close partnership with parents, local businesses, the AECG, other local schools and the wider community. We have a focus on individual student achievement with staff employed solely to work with teachers to oversee the progress of each individual student across the school. Intervention programs are run to ensure all students show individual progress including SLSOs in every classroom, every day. A range of extra-curricular opportunities are provided including: sport, band, public speaking, debating, dance, choir, environmental group, GATS programs and a range of Aboriginal cultural programs and opportunities. Interest groups run at lunchtimes to cater for all students including coding, book club, chess, weaving, environment and drumming. All students K-6 also have access to a range of ICT opportunities with interactive touchscreens and ipads in all classrooms, coding and robotics kits as well as a computer lab.
