Willow Tree Public School
Willow Tree Public School is a small, friendly, community school which assists children to develop their full potential educationally, emotionally and socially in a safe and caring environment. At Willow Tree Public School we are fortunate to have a very supportive parent body and community. We 'Aim High' in all that we do. This would not be possible without the support of the staff, parents and community. The school programs provide every child with the best possible education and opportunities. We provide a stimulating and challenging learning environment where risk taking is encouraged. Above all we want the students to feel happy and secure. A strong welfare policy focuses on developing independent and responsible students. We constantly analyse and evaluate school programs and children's progress to achieve the highest educational outcomes possible. School plans and targets are developed from the continuous evaluation of school programs and NAPLAN results.
We recognise the Ongoing Custodians of the lands and waterways where we work and live. We pay respect to Elders past and present as ongoing teachers of knowledge, songlines and stories. We strive to ensure every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learner in NSW achieves their potential through education.
