Wilberforce Public School

Wilberforce Public School is in a semi-rural environment in the Western Sydney region. The school has been established for one hundred and twenty nine years and now occupies newer facilities that were established in 1995. The school aims for its students to be responsible citizens with caring, understanding social skills, have high self-esteem, both as learners and as people, be self-directed, lifelong learners, who value education, have competent skills in literacy, communication, numeracy, research and technology, be creative and critical problem solvers, be able to work independently and co-operatively, be appreciative of all cultures and uniqueness of others and of languages, art and music and be able to make informed health and lifestyle decisions. Programs to support school focus include as well as a strong academic focus, band and choir tuition, a vibrant social skills component and sports and health learning. Gifted and talented programs enrich the school learning environment and there is a strong support network at the school to assist those students with learning needs. Our mission is to provide 'Quality Education in a Caring Learning Environment'.
