Weston Public School

Weston Public School is located three kilometres west of Kurri Kurri and aims to promote individual student development through effective education in an environment that is safe and happy, offering continuous student progress through the use of outcomes which guide all curriculum areas and promote the use of technology. We receive extra financial support from the Priority Schools Program (PSP). School core values and student welfare efforts reflect those promoted by the NSW Department of Education and Training and our school actively promotes the 'You Can Do It' program, a Red Cross Breakfast Club and intra and extra-mural activities. Additionally the school has commenced training for involvement in the National Partnerships Program running over the next six years. The school is supported by an active Parents and Citizens Association and, together with our partner schools of Kurri Kurri High, Kurri Kurri Public, Pelaw Main Public, Mulbring Public and Stanford Merthyr Infants, we form a united relationship through the Kurri Kurri Learning Community.
