Wee Jasper Public School

Wee Jasper Public School is a small, isolated school set on nine acres in the picturesque Goodradigbee Valley. The school was established in 1899 and has always been a one teacher school. Our students are actively encouraged to be achievers, set short and long term goals and approach life with an optimistic outlook. They will leave the school with strong numeracy, literacy and technology skills. Interest is nurtured in the natural environment, both flora and fauna; landforms; camping; fishing; gardening; playing guitar; tennis; golf and athletics. Students will be equipped with the skills to participate confidently in society and lead a healthy , sporting and active life. The school offers a diverse range of learning opportunities for the students. To overcome isolation, the school is active in promoting activities with other schools to maximise social and cultural experiences for the children. Many overnight camps and day trips are held during the year. A hard working Parents and Citizens Committee and strong community support help to enrich all of our school programs. Parental involvement is highly valued and is an important part of the school's culture.
